9 yearsReceived a rather dodgy call earlier today, an Asian chap claiming to be from BT and insisting that my router has been compromised. Naturally, I wasn't biting and declined to share any details about my laptop. After some back and forth, I managed to extract a callback number-0203 289 4455-but they were rather evasive about transferring me. I firmly stated that I’d reach out if needed, and promptly, they hung up. Just a heads up for everyone-be vigilant!BT9 yearsJust like a few others have said, I got a bloke on the phone with a strong Asian accent and a bunch of noise in the background, like he was calling from some call centre. He told me he was ringing from BT and warned that my internet would be cut off the next day. Obviously, it was dodgy as I don’t even have BT internet! As soon as I said that, he hung up. My phone showed “International Call” as the number, although it seemed to be from somewhere near Coventry.BTCoventry9 yearsGot a call from some Asian bloke saying he was from BT. Since we're Sky customers, I knew straight away it was dodgy. Plus, my hubby had already ended our contract because we were moving.
