Got a call at 8.45pm tonight. I only answered cos I figured it might be something important this late. But all I got was silence, so I ended up hanging up. If no one answers me straight away when I say hello, I just cut them off - usually means it's some automated bot or slow telemarketer.

Got a call around 3.20 in the afternoon, they told me I’d won an £80 Tesco voucher. I told them to ring back later because I needed to fetch the kids, but they snapped at me, saying “Ma’am, we aren’t just gonna keep calling you.” Quite rude!

I got a call from a lady who said she was calling on behalf of BT, telling me I wouldn’t have to deal with annoying calls from tonight since this was supposedly a BT number. I explained to her that this isn’t a BT line at all, and she told me to speak with my actual provider to stop the nuisance calls. Then she tried to get me to give my name and who I use for broadband. When I said that wasn’t her business, she just hung up right away.

I have a strong feeling this might be yet another dodgy operation. When I attempted to call this number, I was met with a recorded voice proclaiming that the number is unrecognised! It certainly raises a few eyebrows, doesn’t it?
