Got a call from someone saying they were from Barclays, but honestly, who gets a bank call at 8 in the evening? Sounded legit at first, but definitely just a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Barclays fraud department, said they were looking into some suspicious activity. He definitely sounded convincing, had my full name, where I live, and even the last 4 digits of my bank account. I didn’t catch on at first, but he was actually trying to get access to my online banking through my phone app. Once I figured it out and hung up, he kept using my full name like it was some kind of game to keep me on the line. Proper unsettling stuff.

They keep ringing me up but never bother to leave a message, so it can’t be anything urgent. Probably just some rubbish people looking for trouble.

Got a call saying they were from Barclays fraud dept. Total con! They just want to stall you so they can get into your bank account. Don’t fall for it! I just lost £1000 because of this scam today!
