They claim to represent Barclays but don't be fooled-their intentions are far from genuine. It's best to steer clear and not engage with them.

I received a message on my voicemail claiming to be from Barclays, urging me to return their call. So, I did just that, but the individual who answered didn’t mention Barclays whatsoever. They then proceeded to request some security information, which I flatly declined to provide. I told them to send any correspondence via post - that’s the only method I’m comfortable with for dealing with such matters. I ended the conversation on that note.
