Got a call from 02476 665798 claiming they'd slash all my phone bills! Seems they've switched from the old computer issues to this new pitch. I always thought silent calls were when they ring loads of numbers at once and you weren't first to answer? Either way, it's all rubbish to me!

On 24th July 2018, I got a call from an Asian lady saying there was an issue with my PC. I told her to bugger off and then blocked the number straight away.

Got a call just now from a bloke with an Asian accent saying pretty much the same as others mentioned before - that I’d been downloading loads and even caught viruses, asking if I was sat at my computer. I told him I was tracking the call and that people aren’t falling for their tricks anymore, then he abruptly hung up. Complete rip-off, watch out!

Received a call today, 24th July at 11:09. I kept answering with a hello but then the line suddenly cut off after around 10 seconds. Since my number’s ex-directory, I’m really puzzled how they managed to get hold of it, I don’t just share it with anyone!

This number 02476685315 rang me about 12.30pm today. Some guy with an accent started talking about a computer issue, but I couldn’t really catch what he said so I asked him to speak up. Then he went on about some problem with my computer, but I just shouted back, "Wrong number, mate!" and hung up straight away.

Got two calls from this number. The first one, I answered but they quickly cut off. I looked up the number to see who it was. Then, a few minutes later, they called again trying that computer scam trick. I asked to talk to a manager, but they refused and kept me on hold for no reason, so I just ended the call. A real business would’ve put you through to a supervisor if you asked more than once. After I hung up, I checked the number one more time - yep, exactly the same one.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming there’s a huge issue with our computer downloading loads of data. When I asked who sent him, he said something like "we’re the expected service provider for Windows." That made no sense to me since Windows is Microsoft’s thing, so I figured that answer was dodgy. The funny bit? We only run Windows on Saturdays; the rest of the week we’re on iOS or Android. He basically tripped himself up by only mentioning Windows. I’m pretty sure he was gearing up to charge a crazy amount to fix the so-called problem.

Got a call from some computer help lot, definitely not anywhere near the UK, probably one of those Indian or Chinese call centres trying to trick you into letting them onto your computer. Don’t fall for it, steer clear completely.

Got a call from a number in Coventry, some bloke with an Indian accent saying my computer had some kind of issue. He said I didn’t need to do anything except be close to it. I told him I don't own a computer and barely know how to use one, then he just hung up. Seems like one of those scams trying to get remote access to your PC if you go along with it. Best to steer clear and not fall for it.

Had a dodgy call from some bloke claiming there was a problem with my computer. When I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him to remove me from their records, he got really rude. Proper scammer. Luckily, I've got call blocking on my phone and used it straight away! Would definitely recommend doing the same.

Some bloke called Alan, sounded Indian, claimed he was with Microsoft Tech Support. I just told him straight up I wasn't buying it and called him a bloody scammer. He stammered a bit, but when I pressed him to prove who he was, he ended up hanging up.

Got a call from this number, and like a few others have said, it just hung up as soon as I picked up. Don’t be fooled by the UK number showing up - it’s actually a spoof. I reckon it’s coming from abroad, maybe India, and then masked with a UK line to trick you. It also seems like it’s designed to slip past any call blockers, especially those that stop overseas codes starting with 00. Definitely dodgy, so be careful.
