Someone said it was BT Openreach, called me up about an issue and told me my service was about to get cut off. They said to press 1 if I wanted to keep it, so I did, but then the call just got dropped on me. Bit strange if you ask me.

I just got a call on my landline from a recorded voice saying something about my internet being frozen and that they’d cut it off soon unless I pressed a number like 1 or 2. The voice said her name was Angela or something. I didn’t bother pressing anything and just hung up.

My landline rang around 12.22pm today, but as soon as I answered, the call just went dead. I figured it was probably some sort of scam. This number seems pretty fresh too, since hardly anyone’s searched it yet. Definitely not one I knew.

Someone said they were with Amazon Prime but when I asked who it was registered to, they had no idea. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
