Got a call from someone saying they were with Eon Next. When I asked them for our account password (which we put in place because of loads of spam calls), they couldn’t give it and said they'd ring back in 5 minutes. I’m still waiting for that call, and I’m pretty certain it’s just a scam. I doubt they’ll ever actually share any password. Best not to share anything with this number.

Got a call from this bloke Kevin Brown, sounded proper Indian accent. He said he was from EON-NEXT or something like that. Apparently, they’ve been getting so many dodgy calls they’ve put a password on their accounts now. Thing that really worries me is they already know the account number! I’ve actually questioned E.ON about how these scammers even get hold of that info in the first place, and that’s supposedly why they started using passwords.
