I get calls every now and then from someone saying they’re from EE, offering upgrades. I just tell them I’m fine with my current plan and then hang up. Not sure if it’s legit or a scam. The person on the line often sounds like they have an Indian accent.

Got a call from someone saying they were from EE offering a "better deal". They wanted my account info but I said I’d ring EE myself on 150. When I tried to get them to delete my number via GDPR, they just cut the call. BE WARNED - THIS NUMBER IS DEFINITELY A SCAM. Don’t share any personal info with them. If you already have, report it to Action Fraud immediately.

I received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be with EE trying to lure me in with some sort of phone contract deal. It felt rather fishy, and I suspect they were out to con me.

Said they were calling from EE's marketing department. I just blocked the number and reported it as spam.
