Hey, it’s great to see everyone coming together to warn others about these calls. I’m in Norway and got a call from this number today. I did a free course online through Shaw Academy a while back, and I guess now they’re trying to get people to buy their paid classes. Reading your comments about Shaw made me connect the dots. I usually don’t answer calls from unknown international numbers, especially after all the scams popping up since the pandemic. So watch out, folks. I got a call like that too, from someone saying they were from Shaw Academy and asking for my bank details. She was going on and on like it was urgent. When I said I wasn’t near my purse, she said she’d send me an email instead. The weird bit? She already knew my email address! Honestly, it just screamed scam to me. It’s nearly 10:30 pm here in the UK, so why on earth would I be getting a call from Jamaica at this time, especially on a public holiday? Proper dodgy.
