Got a call first thing in the morning from a guy with an African accent. I think it might have something to do with that dark web data breach I heard about. My bank just told me to switch my cards, so maybe they’re trying to grab extra info about your accounts too. Sounds like these scammers have some info already, but are after more to mess with your cards. Just a heads up if you’ve had to change your bank cards recently!

Got a call this morning around 9 and they already had my name which was kinda creepy. They kept trying to get me to verify other bits of info. I asked what company they were from and they said UK Essentials, then just kept asking the same questions again and again. Got a call about 8.15 in morning (I thought calls like these aren’t allowed before 9?). It was a woman, probably from somewhere in East Asia, who somehow already knew my name and said she was with some ‘choice’ company. Seems like a blatant cold call or scam.
