Just got a message saying I’d been near someone who’s tested positive. It told me to get a free test from uk-healthdata.com. Looks really dodgy to me, probably a scam. Be careful if you get the same!

this is an INTERNATIONAL phone SCAM... They are ripping off folks in both the UK and the US, all for some quick cash... They’ll ask you stuff like, “are you holding your card? can you tell me your card details?” And I’m just like, why on earth do you need that info? These INTERNATIONAL SCAMMERS just ring anyone they can find at RANDOM!

First they try to get your address, probably to put it in their system and use it for buying stuff. Then, after a while, they start calling more often, trying to trick you into giving them your bank details.

Step 1: These scammers start by trying to get your ADDRESS… they’re just collecting info to buy stuff in your name. .............. Step 2: After a while, they’ll ring every day asking for your BANK DETAILS… don’t fall for it!
