Has anyone picked up when this number rings? I noticed I got a couple missed calls from it, could be some sort of robocall or call centre just checking if my number is active. I never pick up strangers and they didn’t leave any voicemail. Been looking online trying to find out anything about that number but came up empty. Anyone got a clue who it might be?

I got a call from someone saying they were with the Co-op Bank’s fraud team, saying someone had tried to set up a direct debit using my details. They never asked the right security questions, but somehow read my account number over the phone. They claimed they could change my security question to whatever I wanted, yet couldn’t actually say what it currently was. The bloke was trying hard to mask his dodgy southern accent, but it was pretty obvious. His speech was terribly unclear. Even after telling him to go away, he had the nerve to ring back twice more!

I've now had like five different companies ring me about some crash they say I was involved in. When I told the bloke I don’t even have a licence, he just said it might’ve happened while I was shopping or something, and that I probably haven't made a claim yet? So I just hung up. What a load of rubbish from these pushy sales people.
