Got a call from someone saying they were from some big debt collection lot, asking for my personal info about money they said I owed to a finance firm. I didn’t hang about and just ended the call, then went ahead and blocked the number straight away.

I'm so tired of getting calls from numbers that all begin the same way with the first 7 digits, but the last 4 keep changing. Like ive seen ones ending in 0061, 0073, 0101, 0009 and loads others too. I've just gone ahead and blocked them now.

I got a call today from a bloke with an Asian accent who addressed me by a username I use on the internet and mentioned some debt I was supposedly paying off every month. He asked me to verify it, but I told him he seemed to have all the info and should know already. Unsurprisingly, he just ended the call. Definitely a scam. What’s funny is the voice was nearly identical to a guy who rang me yesterday from a Leeds number, 01135220184. Makes me wonder if they’re working together or something. Either way, both numbers are blocked now.
