A guy with a strong accent called me, said he was ringing about my washing machine cover, which I’ve never got. I asked him how he found my number and he claimed I was already a customer. Told him again I wasn’t, and when I pressed him on where he got my details, he just ended the call.

Got a really odd call the other day. The voicemail must have answered because it sounded like a pre-recorded message was playing. But weirdly, the recording started just as the message was about to end. It was a woman speaking with an American accent and all I caught was something like ". under my control. Completely!" I reckon the first bit was meant to say that by picking up, my phone (or maybe me) was now fully controlled by them or something like that. Needless to say, it didn't have any effect at all!
