Is anyone else using 3 mobile and entering those comps through the Wuntu app? It’s the one that does competitions and freebies like meals and cinema tickets. I joined a few lately and now I’m getting loads of calls, some even from South Shields. This number was the first one. Didn’t even answer it though.

Got a call from someone asking for a Stuart McCallum, and it gave me bad vibes like a phishing scam. When I said there’s no-one by that name at my place, the guy quickly switched gears and said I might be entitled to a PPI claim linked to my address. Then he started asking for my full name, address, and other personal stuff. Felt like a classic trick - claiming to be about PPI just to sneak out info. Like, who actually does PPI cold calls *from a pub*? Hardly sounds legit, and I doubt any real company would allow that. Definitely blocked and thinking of reporting it.

Once again got a call from an unfamiliar number, 024 7500 0028, but no voicemail was left. I've gone ahead and blocked it since I never pick up calls from numbers I don't recognize.

I got a call from this number asking for my wife but she said I was busy and asked if they could leave a message. The woman sounded really irritated and said she’d ring back later before hanging up. I called the number back and got a voicemail saying it’s some kind of matchmaker service, said they’d call again. Looked it up and apparently it’s connected to dating sites. From Coventry? Yeah, sure, seems dodgy to me. I’ve blocked the number now.

Proper persistent and a bit aggressive PPI claims firm. I told them I wasn’t interested, but they just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Mentioned I never paid any PPI, still they kept going. The bloke got quite confrontational, so I told him to leave me be and ended the call. Now their number’s blocked.
