I got a call from this number, and it turned out to be one of those scammers pushing vouchers on Facebook. They ask for your info if you respond. Honestly, if it seems too good to be real, it probably is. Best thing is to just hang up and block them right away.

Got a call tonight around 7:50pm, someone trying to say I’d won a £50 Morrison’s diesel voucher but kept calling me Dave. Told ’em my name’s James and then just cut the call. Proper daft!

Got a call from a woman pretending to be with BT, but her accent was so thick I had to ask her a few times where she was from. Then she went on about some nuisance call thing and wanted to check my address. I just ended the call right there.

Got a call asking for Mr something, saying he'd won some vouchers from Tesco and Morrisons. They wanted to know our first names. When I asked her which company she was from, she said "Unicare". I googled it and told her that's an American firm. Then she quickly said "oh no, it's a UK one". So I checked again and found that company was dissolved back in 2016 according to Companies House. She wasn’t too convinced and said "that can't be right". Also, the phone number’s area code belonged to India, fyi.

Someone called saying I’d won a £50 Tesco voucher, then mentioned they’d send it to an address nearby - looks like they hoped I’d correct them but I just played along. After that, they asked how to pronounce my ‘lovely’ name, and I told them no. Then they wanted to chat to a parent, so I just ended the call. I even phoned Tesco afterwards to report it.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from Tesco, saying I'd won a £50 voucher that they'd be sending to my place (oddly enough, she knew my address). She then asked me to spell out my first name, which I found a bit strange. I asked her to repeat where she was calling from because I wasn’t sure I heard properly at the start - she said Tesco again. Told her Tesco must already know my name then, and that seemed to upset her because she just hung up on me! Quite annoying, especially at 8:40 pm.

They called saying they were from BT and started asking how long I'd been a customer there. When I told them I wasn’t with BT, they switched to asking if I was with Sky, Virgin, or TalkTalk instead. Then they asked if my boiler was older than 10 years. After that, they just seemed stuck for questions and I ended up hanging up on them.

Got a call saying I’d bagged a £50 shopping voucher valid at places like Tesco, Sainsbury’s or Morrison’s. The caller asked for my postcode and then started probing with odd questions - like my age bracket, what brand of washing machine I own, and if I was aware of any airport delays. All supposedly while my voucher was being processed. I ended the call pretty quickly. He claimed he was ringing from Watford, but the number seemed fishy to me.

It was about 8:35 in the evening and even tho we're on the TPS list, we got a call. The woman claimed she was calling from BT, asked for me by name and then wanted me to confirm my address. She spoke super quick and her accent was so thick i could barely understand a thing. When my husband tried to find out what the call was about, she just cut him off and hung up! Proper dodgy behaviour if you ask me.

had a call from a lady claiming to be with bt, saying she was checking if i'd had any dodgy calls over the festive period. i told her it wasn't a good moment but she kept going on anyway. then she started mentioning an address and asked if it belonged to me, i told her it wasn’t, but she carried on regardless. i just said bye after that and decided not to pick up if that number calls back.
