I got a call from this number, and it turned out to be one of those scammers pushing vouchers on Facebook. They ask for your info if you respond. Honestly, if it seems too good to be real, it probably is. Best thing is to just hang up and block them right away.

Received a call earlier this evening around half past seven, with the caller asking me to confirm my name because I had supposedly won a £50 voucher for Morrisons diesel. The trouble was, they kept mispronouncing my name as ‘Dave’. I must admit, after correcting them multiple times and still being met with ‘Dave’, I decided it was best to just hang up. Honestly, how hard can it be to get a name right?

Got a call from a woman pretending to be with BT, but her accent was so thick I had to ask her a few times where she was from. Then she went on about some nuisance call thing and wanted to check my address. I just ended the call right there.

Received a call earlier, the person on the line was inquiring for a Mr. He claimed he'd secured a voucher from both Morrisons and Tesco, and wanted to know our first names. When I probed about the company he represented, he mentioned 'Unicare.' A quick search revealed it's an American firm, so I queried him on that. He insisted, “No, it’s UK based,” but upon further investigation, Companies House indicates it was dissolved back in 2016. When I pointed this out, he seemed quite taken aback and retorted, “Oh, that can’t be correct!” By the way, just so you know, the area code suggests the call is coming from India!

There was a noticeable pause before he began speaking. He had a somewhat foreign accent and mentioned the name of the previous homeowner. I informed him he had dialled the wrong number and promptly ended the call.

Someone called saying I’d won a £50 Tesco voucher, then mentioned they’d send it to an address nearby - looks like they hoped I’d correct them but I just played along. After that, they asked how to pronounce my ‘lovely’ name, and I told them no. Then they wanted to chat to a parent, so I just ended the call. I even phoned Tesco afterwards to report it.

They called saying they were from BT and started asking how long I'd been a customer there. When I told them I wasn’t with BT, they switched to asking if I was with Sky, Virgin, or TalkTalk instead. Then they asked if my boiler was older than 10 years. After that, they just seemed stuck for questions and I ended up hanging up on them.

Got a call saying I’d bagged a £50 shopping voucher valid at places like Tesco, Sainsbury’s or Morrison’s. The caller asked for my postcode and then started probing with odd questions - like my age bracket, what brand of washing machine I own, and if I was aware of any airport delays. All supposedly while my voucher was being processed. I ended the call pretty quickly. He claimed he was ringing from Watford, but the number seemed fishy to me.

It was about 8:35 in the evening and even tho we're on the TPS list, we got a call. The woman claimed she was calling from BT, asked for me by name and then wanted me to confirm my address. She spoke super quick and her accent was so thick i could barely understand a thing. When my husband tried to find out what the call was about, she just cut him off and hung up! Proper dodgy behaviour if you ask me.
