When I first started blocking, I labelled them PEST A, B, C and so on. But there’s so many different spam numbers popping up I had to start reusing the letters, hence the “V1”. These scammers try loads of tricks: pretending to be from Sky, BT, car crash claims, prize competitions, TV or health insurance offers - all just to steal your bank info. Sometimes they’ll even claim HMRC owes you a refund.
