1 monthSo, some bloke rang me claiming he was from EE and asked for my email to 'verify' who I was. When I asked what the last few digits of my email were, he wouldn’t tell me, which made me suspicious straight away. I said I wasn’t convinced they were legit EE and that I was going to end the call, then the line went dead. They did sound pretty believable though, chatting about a 5G booster SIM and all that. My guess is they planned to send me a link to 'verify' my info, and if I clicked it and signed in, they'd probably nick all my account details. Definitely dodgy!EE8 yearsReceived a call from someone pretending to be my broadband supplier, asking for personal information.
