Got a call from some automated voice, sounded like a Californian accent or something. I’m not great with American accents, but the message was about the line being hacked or something, asking me to press 1 for help. Clearly another one of those scam calls.

Got a call from some automated woman with an American accent saying my internet was going to be cut off today because it’d been hacked from California. She gave me some numbers to press, but I didn’t bother hitting anything, figured it was just a con that would end up costing me. Luckily, my internet’s still working fine. Sounds like another dodgy scam to me.

Got a robo call from a woman with an Indian/Pakistani accent claiming she was from the BT tech team. She said my internet was hacked and that my phone line would be cut off today. I ended the call straight away, didn’t even wait to hear what options she was giving because it felt dodgy. Plus, my phone and broadband aren't even with BT, so I’m pretty sure it was just another scam.

Got a robo call sayin' my internet was hacked or something. They told me to press numbers to speak with some support line. I ended the call straight away 'cause we use Virgin, not BT, so figured it was a con.

I received a rather peculiar call from a mechanical voice claiming to be from BT, asserting that there had been an issue with my internet security and that they required personal details to rectify it. The thing is, I’m a Plusnet customer, so it was rather baffling and clearly a scam. I've since blocked the number!
