I just wanted to say this number isn’t actually from BT, despite what’s generally said about it. The 023 code covers places like Portsmouth and Southampton, but this particular number doesn't fall into any official allocated range. I checked a trustworthy UK database and it confirms that numbers beginning with 0239435 are reserved and shouldn’t be in use. So, if you’ve been called from this, chances are it’s a fake ID, probably coming via VoIP from some call centre miles away from the UK! No better way to put it really.
