I had a call from someone trying to sell me loft insulation, going on about that soft, white or yellowish fluff in the roof. It was clear they were after older folks, trying to con them by warning that stuff might get mouldy or something. Suspicious from the start!

Absolutely awful people targeting the elderly, scaring them over supposedly dodgy loft insulation. When you ring back, it’s always that same recorded bloke going by different names like Luke, Matthew and John. I reckon if I tried again he’d be introducing himself as Mark! Such a nasty scam, absolutely shocking. Make sure you report them!

Being a night worker tasked with monitoring a radar screen, I do my utmost to ensure everyone remains safe. It appears that the authorities are aware of the origin of the call. Yet, nothing seems to be done about it. Could it be that our various agencies, including senior police officials, top-tier bank management, and politicians, are all in cahoots, profiting off each successful scam? It's no wonder the issue remains unaddressed.

Got a call from a lady asking for "Mr or Mrs [surname]". I told her straight up that "Mrs [surname] has passed away" and asked what she was playing at, as I knew this was dodgy. She then tried to pitch a free loft inspection. I told her exactly where to shove it. My dad is quite vulnerable and we’re on the TPS, so this shouldn’t be happening at all.
