When I spoke with customer support (Lily, to be precise), she mentioned that the sales team makes an initial call followed by a second one to verify the customer's wellbeing. When I inquired if this involved a medical professional, she skirted the question entirely. Lily's pitch was quite polished, leading me to suspect that she may have either been through extensive training or is, ironically, part of the con herself, perhaps just eager to hold onto her job. The phone lines also lacked the professional atmosphere typically found in an office-on one occasion, I could hear children playing in the background during my call! I strongly advise against falling for their smooth talk and would recommend steering clear of their offerings; there are far more affordable insurance options available. They claim to be regulated by the FCA but apparently operate under Hill Finance, who are the ones actually regulated. I'm just about to file a complaint with the FCA and trading standards because something doesn't smell right here.
