Got a sales call from an unknown number out of the blue. Didn’t ask for it, so I’ve just blocked the number now.

I've had this number ring me a staggering twenty times over just two days! Quite irritating, to say the least. Each time I let it ring out as I’m not convinced their claim of being from Carphone Warehouse is genuine. They're persistently asking for someone named Michael. Best to block this number altogether, I reckon!

It seems this is Carphone Warehouse reaching out. A while back, I popped into one of their shops to ask about potential upgrades, but I decided against it in the end. Apparently, they’ve retained my phone number without asking for my consent, as they recently rang me up with an upgrade proposal. They mentioned it was a limited-time offer and tried to coax me into accepting it. As it turns out, I’m glad I held off, as O2 has a significantly better deal available if you go straight through them.
