Had a call from Carly at Aerial Direct claiming she was ringing for Vodaphone about my contract ending soon - I told her it wasn’t true and when she asked when it actually ends, I just hung up straight away and blocked the number. Proper scammers, no doubt!

Someone said they were from Vodafone but then asked for my identity and to confirm my account details with them. They wrongly told me my contract was ending and tried pushing a new deal, asking for my full bank info. Probably one of those dodgy scammers pretending to be Vodafone, I ended the call when I got suspicious.

The firm called Ariel Direct - I asked the guy straight three times if he was ringing from Vodafone or some outside company and he kept dodging the question like a dodgy politician. He said my contract ended (which it hasn’t). I just ended the call.

Got a cold call from someone saying my Vodafone contract was nearly up and they could find me a better deal. After hanging up, I realised my contract still has a year left, so these lot clearly aren’t from Vodafone. They asked about my phone habits, brought up O2 and Vodafone sharing coverage, and even requested my postcode. Then suddenly his computer froze and he disappeared! Promised to ring back, but no sign of him yet. Sounds like a dodgy little company trying to pressure-sell contracts and make a quick commission.
