Really good provider offering affordable full access to o2, I've been a customer for ages. No dodgy stuff at all and you can call o2 direct if you need help, so it’s a win-win.

A company called Aerial Direct working for O2 have been ringing me for a few years now. They usually call when my contract ends. They’re pretty friendly and not pushy at all. No scams or anything weird, just normal calls.

Got a call on my daughters phone (she's not the primary account holder) claiming they're from O2 and offering a better deal on our contract. Like others have pointed out, it wasn't actually O2 but some firm in Gosport named Aerial Direct, which is just a reseller. My daughter told them straight up she isn’t the account holder and luckily didn't give out my number! I really can't abide companies that try sneaky tactics to bag new customers.

I tried calling the number but it just kept on ringing. Oddly enough, it seems to answer briefly then rings again, like they want you to stay connected and make you pay for it. If this number pops up, best not to ring back.

It seems my experience mirrors others here. I missed a call earlier today, assuming it might be P&O regarding my ferry reservation given the Portsmouth number that popped up. Upon returning the call, I was greeted by a rather tedious automated message requesting my mailbox number... as if! I promptly hung up and made a note of the number instead. Cheers, Roy

Received a rather peculiar phone call today from some chap named Danial, claiming to be offering me an upgrade with Vodafone. He went on to ask for my postcode and quizzed me about the reception quality at my residence. Oddly enough, he seemed to suggest that O2 had superior signal strength in my area, which I found a bit fishy considering he was representing Vodafone. Decided it best to cut the conversation short and end the call. To top it off, he attempted to ring me back not once, but twice! Quite the unusual encounter, if you ask me.

This bloke claimed he was calling from Aerial for vodafone, saying my contract was ending soon and they could offer a better rate. To be honest, he was quite pleasant but kept pressing me for loads of details about my phone plan, which I didn’t share. I ended the call politely and he did too, but it’s worrying they have these phone numbers and obviously must be up to no good if they’re “posing” as vodafone.

I’ve been receiving persistent calls from this number. It’s quite bizarre as they seem to be redirecting their calls. I’ve had numerous engagements with the same line, yet my phone displays a variety of locations - ranging all the way from Portsmouth to Manchester! Quite the mystery, isn't it?

I keep getting calls from this number, usually once a week, and every time I pick up, it's just a pre-recorded message requesting my four-digit mailbox number. I've no clue which company they're representing or what they're after, so I just end up hanging up. I’d really like my number removed from whatever list they’re using, but there’s no way to speak to a real person to sort it out! It’s quite frustrating, to say the least!

I received a call from this number while I was away from my mobile, so I decided to return the call to find out who it was. The chap on the other end claimed to be contacting me regarding my Vodafone upgrade. As my upgrade is indeed due, I continued with the chat, even though I was on the line. He managed to "sell" me a new contract and assured me I would receive an email confirmation shortly. However, when that didn’t arrive, I contacted Vodafone directly, and they had no record of this individual whatsoever. They advised me that should a phone show up, I should refuse delivery. I went ahead and upgraded my device through Vodafone, and up to now, I've not heard anything from that bloke. I can’t shake off the feeling of confusion - what was the aim of that call? Was it merely to fish for my details? It’s left me feeling quite on edge. I’ve always prided myself on being vigilant and not falling for such tricks. It’s a real eye-opener, to say the least.

Yeah, it’s Aerial business phones Portsmouth. They’re quite rude, but honestly, it feels like someone gave them possible numbers to call. They’ve got a few different numbers but ignore the one they actually ring you from. Best thing is to be firm with them and then block. Or try ringing them back on their other digits like 023 9273 7513, but make sure you put 141 before it so they can’t see who’s calling.

I received a rather peculiar phone call today from individuals purporting to represent O2, suggesting they could provide me with a superior deal and save me some money. Astonishingly, they seemed to have all my personal details and even mentioned that I was eligible for an upgrade, offering me a complimentary iPhone 5! Initially, it all sounded rather enticing; however, I began to get quite concerned after they incessantly called, requesting my account information and asking me to sign a document to send back to them. It all felt a bit too good to be true, and after reading the experiences of others, I’m left unsettled by how these sorts of scams operate without facing any repercussions for what seems like blatant fraud! 😟

This number has rang me about three times now, and seeing as I don't recognise it, I assumed it was just one of those nuisance sales calls. I’ve let a couple of them slide, wishing I could’ve had a good go at them. Occasionally, giving them a piece of my mind actually puts an end to their pestering. However, this morning, I answered and overheard a bloke chatting away, presumably in some office. Just as I was about to say something, the line dropped. I've been bombarded by calls from this number, which claims to be Aerials Direct. They keep insisting that my Vodafone contract is about to finish and that I'm eligible for an upgrade. I received a call from this number around two years back when I was about to get my upgrade from Vodafone. The chap on the other end launched into a sales pitch for an “amazing offer” on an iPhone 5 - 24-month contract at £55 a month, which included unlimited texts, 500 minutes of calls, and 1GB of data. I quickly set him straight, as I was already on a much better plan. Now, here we are again, and they're back in touch as my upgrade time rolls around. I've decided to ignore their calls this time. Received a call claiming to be from Aerial Direct, offering me a chance to snatch up a new phone or enjoy lower monthly bills. They were aware I was with Vodafone, so I found myself intrigued and ultimately agreed to a deal worth £27.99 for a brand new Samsung on O2! They mentioned they collaborate with several networks, but I’m left wondering if that’s accurate. Honestly, I've had my fill of Vodafone's abysmal customer service and their extortionate data charges. Perhaps I’ve been a bit gullible buying into their pitch. Is this really a legitimate offer? It's not every day you stumble across a new phone, increased data, and bills that are a tenner cheaper every month. They even claimed they would settle what's left on my Vodafone contract. Should I follow through with this deal they’re pushing?

I received a rather aggressive call from Aerial Direct, linked to Vodafone and O2, during which they pressured me into signing a 24-month contract to switch over to O2. Since that call, they have bombarded me with incessant calls and texts. Although I verbally agreed while out for a stroll, I never provided my bank details nor signed the contract they subsequently sent my way. Am I truly obligated to them, as they’ve claimed? The chap started rambling on about being a valued Vodafone customer and wanted to know which phone I was using. I asked if he could access my account details on his screen, and he assured me he could. I then inquired about the expiration date of my contract, and he mentioned January 2015! That was my cue to call him out-there's no way someone from Vodafone wouldn’t know that I parted ways with them two months back due to an early termination. I promptly hung up!

Just like a lot of others, I received a dodgy call claiming I was eligible for a mobile upgrade. Definitely a scam!

I just had a missed call pop up on my phone. So I decided to return the call, and lo and behold, a chap named TOM from Vodafone picked up. He started blabbing about renewing my contract, which was odd because I’m aware my agreement runs for two years and isn’t due to finish until next year. When I asked him when my contract actually ends, he seemed baffled and said he had no clue. That set off alarm bells for me-it felt quite dodgy. Surely, they ought to have my details on file? So, I politely said I needed to have a chat with my husband before making any decisions and told him I’d get back to him.

This number keeps buzzing my phone incessantly, and the caller never utters a word. They don't seem to care if it's day or night; that ruddy thing just won't stop going off!

I dialled my mum's number despite being the one in charge of the account, and they didn’t even mention any data protection details. As an employee at Vodafone, I can confirm this is nothing short of fraudulent and a complete con.

I've been receiving calls from this number and a few similar ones as well. They claim to be agents representing Vodafone, but a quick glance at Vodafone's official website reveals that this just isn't true. Quite suspicious, I'd say!

Even though I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, I keep receiving calls from this number. They purport to be representatives from Vodafone, yet they have the audacity to request personal information-information which a legitimate Vodafone agent would already possess! To top it off, they asked for my Vodafone PIN, which I firmly believe should NEVER be disclosed over the phone, especially not to someone who has cold-called me! It's quite alarming, really.

I recently received a call of a similar nature. The gentleman on the line claimed that my mobile contract had been updated. I quickly corrected him, mentioning that I still have another year left on my agreement. He seemed quite apologetic and assured me he would remove my number from their records.

Received a call on my phone earlier today from a bunch purporting to be representatives of Vodafone. They were on about assisting me in acquiring a new device or cutting down my monthly charges. Considering I've got quite a long way to go on my contract, I was rather sceptical and decided to end the conversation.

Received an unexpected call on my Vodafone mobile; they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. Seems like it was just another sales pitch.

I received a call on my mobile today from this number, and the chap on the other end seemed blissfully unaware that I’d actually answered. He just kept chatting away, completely ignoring me! I couldn't help but say, “It’s rather silly to ring someone and just talk over them, don’t you think?” all I got in return was silence, then he muted me. At that, I decided to hang up. I rang back and discovered it was Aerial Direct, who happen to collaborate with O2, but as I’m with Vodafone, I quickly informed Barry to remove my number from their lists and not to bother me again.

Received a call earlier today regarding my phone contract nearing its end and the possibility of upgrading to a new device. However, I've still got a whole year left on my current contract, so I've no clue where they're getting this information from. Curious, isn’t it?

Today, my phone buzzed with a call from this number, but I chose not to pick up. Interestingly, they didn’t leave any voicemail either. It’s clearly one of those unwanted calls.
