Really good provider offering affordable full access to o2, I've been a customer for ages. No dodgy stuff at all and you can call o2 direct if you need help, so it’s a win-win.

A company called Aerial Direct working for O2 have been ringing me for a few years now. They usually call when my contract ends. They’re pretty friendly and not pushy at all. No scams or anything weird, just normal calls.

Got a call on my daughters phone (she's not the primary account holder) claiming they're from O2 and offering a better deal on our contract. Like others have pointed out, it wasn't actually O2 but some firm in Gosport named Aerial Direct, which is just a reseller. My daughter told them straight up she isn’t the account holder and luckily didn't give out my number! I really can't abide companies that try sneaky tactics to bag new customers.

Got a missed call from Portsmouth, figured it could be P&O about my ferry trip. When I rang back, all I got was some recorded message telling me to leave my mailbox number. No chance I’m doing that! Ended up hanging up and making a note of the number.

I just got a ring from this number, some bloke named Danial who was trying to push a Vodaphone upgrade on me. He wanted my postcode and asked about the signal strength at my place. Then out of nowhere, he says O2 actually has better coverage where I live. That sounded odd to me - if he was from Vodaphone, why would he be advertising O2? So I cut the call short. Weirdly enough, he rang me back twice after that.

This bloke claimed he was calling from Aerial for vodafone, saying my contract was ending soon and they could offer a better rate. To be honest, he was quite pleasant but kept pressing me for loads of details about my phone plan, which I didn’t share. I ended the call politely and he did too, but it’s worrying they have these phone numbers and obviously must be up to no good if they’re “posing” as vodafone.

This number rings me every week, pretty much without fail. Whenever I pick up, there’s just a voicemail asking me to enter a 4-digit mailbox code. I’ve no clue which company it’s even connected to or what they expect from me, so I just end up hanging up. Tried to get my number removed but since nobody actualy talks to you on the other end, it’s impossible to figure out how. Really frustrating!

I missed a call on this number, then called back later and the guy said it was about my Vodafone upgrade. As I’m actually due for one, I kept talking (although I was a bit iffy about the call). He convinced me to agree to a contract and mentioned I’d get a confirmation email. But when nothing arrived, I contacted Vodafone directly. They had no clue about this person and warned me not to accept any phone deliveries. I ended up upgrading my phone through Vodafone anyway. So what was the point of that call? Maybe just fishing for my details? It’s really shaken me up. I always thought I was cautious and wouldn’t get caught out, but clearly not. Just goes to show, eh?

They rang me two times in a row - like they called right back as soon as i missed the first call. When I picked up, I told them to stop bothering me coz it’s annoying when they keep calling back straight away. A bloke said it wasn’t harassment since it had something to do with my vodafone account and an upgrade I was supposedly eligible for - which I know for sure I'm not. Yeah, it’s Aerial business phones Portsmouth. They’re quite rude, but honestly, it feels like someone gave them possible numbers to call. They’ve got a few different numbers but ignore the one they actually ring you from. Best thing is to be firm with them and then block. Or try ringing them back on their other digits like 023 9273 7513, but make sure you put 141 before it so they can’t see who’s calling.

They seemed to know heaps about me, even when my upgrade was due, and were trying to offer a free iPhone 5! I’ve had this number ring me a few times now, about three or so. Since I didn’t recognise it, I thought maybe it’s not another pesky sales call. I ended up missing the last couple ‘cause I wasn’t sure if I wanted to answer, but I do like to pick up and give them a piece of my mind when I can - sometimes it puts them off for good. Today it rang again, and I caught some bloke talking like he was sat in an office, but then the call just dropped. When I phoned it back, it went straight to some sort of voicemail system asking for a mailbox number. I’ve blocked it now, so let’s see if they bother me again.

This number has been ringing me nonstop - Aerials Direct keeps telling me my Vodafone contract is about to finish and I can get an upgrade. Problem is, that’s wrong, my contract has around 6 months left. When I corrected them, they said they'd phone me back later in the year, but instead they call me a couple times a week! A couple of years back, I got a ring from these guys right when I was about to upgrade my Vodafone plan. The bloke tried pushing a so-called "great deal" on an iPhone 5 - 24 months contract, £55 each month, unlimited texts, 500 mins calls, plus 1GB data. Got a call from someone claiming to be Aerial Direct, saying I could get a new phone and lower bills. They even seemed to know I was with Vodafone, so I went along with it. Today, I accepted a deal with O2 for £27.99 including a new Samsung. They mentioned they work with lots of networks - is that for real? I was fed up with Vodafone's terrible customer service and ridiculous data charges, so maybe I was easy to fool. Are these guys for real though? It’s not every day you get a shiny new phone, more data, and £10 off your bill a month, and they even say they’ll clear the rest of my Vodafone contract. Should I go ahead and sign what they sent me?

Honestly, I don’t think they’ve got any legal hold over you, sounds like they’re just trying to intimidate you. But if you end up signing that agreement, then yeah, you’re stuck with it.

So I got a call from some people claiming to be Aerial Direct or Vodafone/02, and they basically pressured me into agreeing to a 24-month contract to switch to 02. I was out walking when they called, so I kinda said yes, but I never gave them my bank info or signed any paperwork they later sent over. Now they keep ringing and texting non-stop. They’re saying I’m legally tied into this deal, but is that true? Can I just block their number and stop dealing with them, or will they mess up my phone number and email somehow? I've been getting calls constantly from this number and another one that sounds just like it. They claim to be Vodafone representatives, but after checking on Vodafone's official website, it's clear to me they’re not legit.

Even though I’m on the telephone preference service, this number keeps ringing me. They say they’re from Vodafone, but then start asking for personal info (which a real Vodafone rep would already have). They even asked me for my Vodafone PIN number... I mean, who would ever hand over a PIN to a stranger on the phone, especially one you didn’t expect to hear from? Absolutely no way!

Got a call like this the other day. The guy claimed my phone plan had been changed. I told him that couldn’t be right since I still got a year left on my deal. He said sorry and promised to remove me from their calling database.

Today I received a call on my mobile from some folks pretending to be Vodafone reps. They said they could help me lower my monthly fees or even get a new phone. Since I’m nowhere near the end of my contract, I told them I wasn’t buying it and ended the call.

Got a call on my Vodafone mobile from an unknown number, no message was left on my voicemail. Seems like it was just another sales pitch.

So today I got a call from this number on my phone, and the bloke on the other end just kept chatting away like I wasn't there. When I said, "Is it really smart to keep talking like that when someone answers?", all I got was dead silence, then they muted their end. I ended the call straight away. Later, I phoned back and found out it was Aerial Direct, who apparently work with O2 (I'm with Vodafone myself). I made it clear to Barry that I wanted off their calling list and not to be bothered again.

Got a call earlier saying my contract was nearly finished and I could upgrade my phone. Problem is, I’ve still got a year to go on it, so don’t know where they pulled that from. Bit strange really.

My phone showed a call from this number earlier, but I didn’t pick up. They didn’t bother leaving any voicemail either. Definitely one of those random, unwanted calls.
