He informed me that I needed to fork out £30 initially to secure the deal, which I did. However, shortly after, he claimed the transaction had failed. So, I ended up paying another £30, bringing my total to £60. The next day, he rang up again insisting that I needed to pay an additional £28 because of the unbelievable bargain they were offering and that failure to do so could delay my order. Against my better judgment, I paid that as well, making it £88 altogether. Now, two weeks have passed, and no sign of the phone. When I attempt to call the number back (+44 23 9216 1161), I’m met with silence. I'm completely at a loss as to what steps to take next. They have my Mastercard and Barclays banking details, and I’ve noticed they set up five monthly payments of £30, which I quickly deleted from my banking app in a panic. I’m utterly dismayed.
