5 yearsGot a call from this number saying they had iPhone 12 Pro Max phones at really low prices. I thought it sounded good, so I agreed to buy one. The person told me I had to pay £30 upfront before they send the phone. I paid the £30, but then they said the payment didn’t go through, so I paid another £30. That’s £60 in total. The very next day, the same caller rang and told me I had to pay another £28 because of the low price, or else the delivery would be delayed. I paid that too, making it £88 altogether. It’s been a couple of weeks now, and I still haven’t got my phone. When I try calling +44 23 9216 1161, no one picks up. They even took my Mastercard and Barclays details, and set up monthly direct debits of £30 without my full consent. I saw these on my banking app and cancelled them straight away. Honestly, I’m gutted - these people are proper scammers.
