Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, wanting to get into my PC. When I told them to get lost, they started swearing at me, telling me to shove my computer where the sun doesn’t shine! These scammers really don’t take a hint - they keep ringing at all hours like I’m gonna answer. It’s so annoying!

I was still in bed when my phone buzzed round 7 in the morning. Didn't get to pick up quick enough. Looked up the number afterwards and it seems dodgy, like a scam or something.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, asking who used the computer the most. When I asked why, the caller got rude and said the computer would be locked, and we’d need to travel to Reading to fix it. I tried to find out the problem, but she said the calls were recorded and that was proof she’d called, accusing me of not helping. When I pressed for more info, she just hung up on me.

It was a dismal 7:43 in the morning on Saturday, the 5th of November, 2022, when my slumber was abruptly shattered after a rough night battling the flu. I’m tempted to strangle these nuisance scammers! For the past five weeks, they've taken it upon themselves to disturb my day with their calls. This time around, I thought I'd finally uncover their identity. Whatever you do, steer clear of answering these calls - they are an absolute plague!

Just got a call around 8 in the morning claiming to be from Microsoft. They didn’t ask who they wanted at first, but when I pushed a bit, they said my name, although I didn’t say anything back. I asked them to read out the address they had on file for me, so I gave them a random one I’ve never lived at with a made-up postcode. As soon as I told them the address was wrong, the lady instantly cut the call. Pretty obvious scam.

Got a call at 7 in the morning and it was totally silent. Feels like one of those scam calls to me. Plus, isn’t it against the rules to cold call before 9AM? Very dodgy behaviour if you ask me!

Got a call from a number that looked local, but I bet it was some scammer from India pretending to be legit. They kept saying "ma'am" and there was loads of background noise, like a call centre or something. Then they just cut the call. Wasn't much, but enough for me to know it was dodgy.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft’s tech support. They claimed they’d sent me messages that I never replied to, which is why they were ringing me up. Honestly, if they’re trying to contact every user like this about so-called issues, they must be the biggest company on earth. I kept them talking for a while before telling them to get lost.
