Isn't it supposed to be His Majesty's Revenue and Customs now? Feels like one of those dodgy scams to me.

Didn’t pick up, figured it was probably some sort of scam.

Someone saying they were from Microsoft called me claiming they had details of my home licence number. I told them I don't even own a computer, so I'm pretty certain it was just a scam.

Seems like I received a message from Virgin Media, claiming they need to enhance my router's security through my computer. Well, I'm not buying it!

Heads up, everyone! This landline's a real scammer's haven! I've received calls from these dodgy home appliance con artists. One chancer tried to sell me a renewal for my washing machine cover, but here’s the kicker-my cover isn't due for renewal at all! Be wary of these calls!

I picked up the phone, but there was absolutely no response.

Got one of those washing machine warranty scams today. Some woman with an Asian accent called me bright and early on a Sunday at like 8:45. They must be really desperate for cash to be ringing at that time!

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming my washing machine's warranty expired. Total scam! I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call about my washing machine warranty expiring, but I just told them it’s all fine and not to bother me, then I ended the call. Typical nonsense really.

They ring me almost every day, sometimes several times. I've told them loads of times I'm not interested and asked them to remove my number from their list.

Seriously, maybe try picking up some English first!

I got a phone call from a woman with an Asian accent, sounded like she was working in a call centre. She told me my washing machine warranty had run out and offered to send me some new documents. I asked her what brand my machine was, since they usually dodge that question, and she replied “Bloomberg.” I told her I don’t own a Bloomberg machine and that the washing machine I do have isn’t under any warranty. She just cut me off. These kinds of calls happen to me multiple times every week and it’s obviously a scam. Really annoying now.

Some Asian lady called me, couldn’t get my last name right at all. I asked if I’d reached some sort of scam operation, and out of the blue, she just ended the call. Hilarious.

I got a call about my washing machine warranty being up, from this bloke who already had my name and address. When I asked which brand my machine was, he said "Bosch." That’s not right at all, so I told him he was wrong and ended the call. Sounds like a dodgy home appliance scam to me.

Terrible connection, definitely a call centre. The voice was Asian and hard to understand, sounded like she was selling washing machine insurance. She gave up pretty quick, probably because I wasn’t interested. They should really hire someone with a proper Geordie accent. Total SCAM!

Got a call from some guy about a washing machine warranty that had apparently expired. When I questioned if it even had a warranty when I bought it, the man with an Asian accent just cut me off and hung up. Considering I bought it on eBay for £26 about 4 years back, I'm pretty sure there's no warranty on it anyway.
