Received a call back on 02.02.18 from a lady with an accent I couldn’t place claiming to be Amie Hollinsworth from Tesco. She was asking for this bloke who apparently used to live here, but he’s been dead for about 10 years - that gave it away straight away. She said he’d won a £50 reward or something. I had a bit of fun wasting her time by keeping the chat going for a good while before she eventually gave up and hung up.

Had pretty much the same thing happen. Someone said they were calling from BT, offering some free service that would stop all my annoying calls for good! Then they started asking my age group and what my favourite colour was as some kind of password. After that, they said they were “representing a BT partner” and asked if I’d ever lost money on investments. I asked what that had to do with BT? They wouldn’t give me a postcode or a callback number, got all annoyed when I asked nicely, and then just cut the call. Proper dodgy if you ask me.
