Better just hang up the phone.

Got a call about renewing some appliance insurance. It was a woman with an Asian accent who actually knew my name. When I bluntly called out the scam, she quickly ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, going on about some kind of "insurance" for my kitchen stuff. I told her everything’s fresh because I only just finished fixing up my house a few weeks back. She kept going on about renewing the policy but never actually said who the insurer was. Pretty obvious it's a load of rubbish but I enjoy hearing them get all flustered when I call them out. Proper scam if you ask me.

Just because people are trying to scam you, it doesn’t mean you can start being racist.

My phone just rang and when I answered, there was absolutely nothing on the other end.

This number looks familiar cause I've been getting calls like this loads recently. I don’t pick up anymore. The only thing changing is the last two digits from all the earlier blocked numbers. Definitely scammers.

Im getting really annoyed with these calls, they keep coming from numbers like 023 8262 20**, with just the final two digits changing each time. Feels like they buy loads of these numbers or something.

Total scam alert! They called about solar panels being on some sort of deal. Once I blocked their number, they just switched the last two digits from 26 to 21 and tried ringing again. Had to block that one too :(

Totally a scam, don’t trust it!

Got a call from a UK number but the voice was clearly from somewhere in South Asia. They first chatted about energy bills before suddenly switching to something about store cards. Total scam, watch out!

This number rang me earlier and I quickly figured it was one of those scam calls. The person on the other end was struggling with English and when I asked them which company they were from and told them to slow down, they just ended the call.

Hung up straight away as the answering machine picked up.

Never heard of this number before. I answered with a hello two times but all I got was some weird clicking noise like those call centres make. They didn’t say anything back though. Feels like they might be calling lots of people trying to catch someone to talk. Just be careful if this number rings you!

Total con. This bloke was saying he had a discount card for big retailers like Tesco, Asda, and Morrisons. Kept pushing me for my bank info, kept asking loads of personal stuff. Definitely a scam. He was on the phone for ages, must have been more than half an hour. Absolute rubbish from start to finish!

Watch out, this was 100% a scam! They wanted to talk to my dad, which is creepy since he passed away three years ago.

The phone woke me up in the middle of the night. When I looked at the caller ID, it turned out to be one of those dodgy home appliance scams.

Got a call this morning, around 8am on a Saturday, from someone with an Indian accent. He was trying to sell me insurance for my kitchen gadgets from a firm he said was called Retro Box. When I asked him to confirm the company name, he kept saying Retro Box was his employer. I looked it up later, but all I found was stuff about video game consoles, nothing about insurance. I don’t usually pick up calls like this but decided to see what it was about. Watch out for that number and company, seems dodgy.

I received a call from someone purporting to be with Smart Savings UK, who was offering a complimentary savings card. However, they wanted me to cough up £2.99 for the postage. Sounds dodgy to me!

Just want to put this out there about this outfit bothering my elderly mum at her place. She’s got dementia and a bad back, so it’s pretty upsetting. Somehow, their calls got through a glitch in our phone blocker today. They’ve hassled her before and honestly, these folks have no regard for others. They really ought to be reined in. I just felt everyone should be warned about how they operate.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming I’d bagged a £50 voucher for a supercar ride. I told him I’m good since I already own a supercar, then just ended the call.

Somebody called me saying they were from Smart Savings UK. They tried to sell me a "free" savings card but wanted £2.99 for shipping first. Total rip-off, watch out for this one!

They said they were from UK Essentials doing a survey. Looks like a classic case of phishing to me. Next thing they’ll say your washing machine warranty’s run out so they can try and scam you. Definitely dodgy!

That was some daft call from a loudmouth SNPer up here in Scotland. Sounds like he’s after a fresh camel to shag since he’s gone through the last one, same as Nicola Sturgeon. Best to just avoid it! He reckons he’ll pay with sheep but trust me, those’ll be proper scrood ones too.

I checked out the information on Companies House, and it turns out that the firm was acquired for a whopping £200 million on the 3rd of November 2021. They brand themselves as bold trailblazers, claiming to assist businesses in enhancing their financial returns. I would strongly advise keeping your distance from them. They're just another irritating nuisance in a long string of telemarketing annoyances.
