I received a rather peculiar phone call today. The chap on the other end seemed to know my name and insisted that I’d been mis-sold life insurance related to a mortgage within the past six years. He went on to say he was from Aviva! When I mentioned that I don’t have any life insurance policy, he abruptly disconnected the call! Quite dodgy, if you ask me.
