I pressed her on whether she was genuinely representing them, and yet again, she abruptly hung up! This morning I got a call from 02382 512675. The person claimed it was about issues with downloads we've supposedly been having. Although our internet cuts out sometimes, we haven’t had any trouble downloading stuff. They asked my dad about the devices we use and said they wanted to take control of one, promising to ring again soon. I warned my dad it sounded like a scam and advised him to just hang up if they call back. They actually called four times back-to-back with hardly any pause in between. I’d say this number is nothing but annoying and suspicious.

Got two silent calls on my home phone over the last couple days. Seems like others reckon it’s a scam, with the caller supposedly saying they’re from Virgin Media. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

I just received a call from someone named "David," who I genuinely suspect is calling from Delhi, despite his claims of being with Virgin Media in London. He was apparently concerned about my security, saying he spotted some dodgy activity on my internet account. Oddly enough, he couldn’t even confirm my name and didn’t ask for any of my details. Instead, he insisted that I open Google on my phone to retrieve my internet ID and password! I explained to him that all that information is readily available in my phone’s settings, so there was no need to go online. At that point, he abruptly hung up! I clearly stated I was uneasy with his requests and had doubts about whether he was actually with Virgin Media tech support, to which he simply terminated the call!

I wouldn't bother engaging with the so-called technical support from "Virgin Media". I've just received three calls from the same chap who promptly cut the line as soon as I began to probe further with my queries! Best to ignore them altogether.

I usually hang up straight away once my voicemail picks up. These calls keep coming in like 3 or 4 times every week. Honestly, I'm thinking about ditching my landline since I barely ever use it nowadays.

I got a call from a woman who spoke really clear English but with an Indian accent. She claimed she was calling from Virgin Media and said they’re offering to safeguard my broadband against overseas hackers. Thing is, I use a different provider, so I was a bit doubtful. She insisted Virgin Media is doing this for all providers, which made me even more uneasy. In the end, I just ended the call. She sounded really professional and believable though!

This morning, I received a call from a landline number 02382 512675 claiming to be from Virgin Media. They mentioned noticing some dubious activities on our internet connection. I responded that I wasn’t even online, and abruptly, they ended the call! Quite peculiar behaviour, if you ask me!
