This morning my landline rang and the caller asked for someone with the wrong name. I just ended the call straight away. After looking it up, I reckon it’s a scam pretending to be from the British Gas boiler programme. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from this number claiming to sell cheap boiler and central heating deals plus electricity cover with unlimited call outs, apparently from British Gas. The funny thing is that my area doesn’t even have Gas connected! I kept hassling them on the phone for 4 or 5 minutes before they finally cut me off.
