This number is definitely still in use, they've been constantly bothering me with calls.

There was a bit of a pause when I picked up, she asked if I could hear her properly, very pleasant sounding lady, she said yes, I said yes back. Then a long pause again, she introduced herself as Sam from Doors & Windows and asked if I was the homeowner. I said no, there was another long pause and then I just ended the call.

These lot have been ringing me every day for nearly 2 weeks now. They never bother to leave a voicemail, otherwise I’d just tell them to buzz off. They call as early as 8 in the morning and as late as 9 at night. Whenever I’m ready to give them a piece of my mind, I’m usually stuck at work so can’t pick up. From now on, I’m gonna block them on my phone, hopefully that’ll stop these annoying scams once and for all.

02382547266 keeps ringing me on my phone, like 4 or 5 times daily. I dont pick up and block em, but then they just call from another number. Every time the caller ID says Reassured, but its loads of different numbers. Its proper annoying now, feels like harassment with how often they try. This has been going on for a few weeks now.

I never pick up calls from unknown numbers like this. I just block them straight away, scammers aint getting through to me. Dont count on phone providers doing anything about these calls, heard they actually profit from them.

I usually just ignore these calls and block the numbers straight away. I’m not letting any of these scammers get to me. Also, don’t count on phone providers to help much, I’ve heard they actually benefit from these kinds of scam calls.

Got a call from 02382280033 claiming to be stock brokers. Told them to remove my info but they keep ringing me about 4 or 5 times daily. I’ve had to block the number now. Pretty sure they grabbed my details from Facebook or something.

This number rang me yesterday and I went through pretty much the same thing as others have described. The caller told me to turn off my speakerphone as he claimed he couldn't hear me properly. I said I did, but actually hadn’t - didn’t want anyone else to hear. Despite that, he insisted he could hear me clearly. Things got aggressive when I refused to give them £500. I contacted BT who also thought they were scammers. They called again today - don’t trust or deal with them.

Got a ring from 02382-280033 at about 7.18pm on 30/03/17. Then, just over an hour later at 8.15pm, another call came through from 00144-23822-80033. Seems like the same person phoning but why does the caller ID show two different numbers? Bit confusing!

He was really slow talking, and when he finally said something, he asked for Gerald. I told him he had the wrong number and just ended the call. Bit strange, honestly!

Better not pick up this number, it’s a total scam. They say your computer has issues and then try to get your bank info. Stay clear!

A bloke with an American accent claimed he was from some tech support team. He wanted to guide me through some updates on my computer. I said I wasn’t home and couldn’t access the PC. He said he’d call again later. I've blocked the number now.

Picked up the phone and a woman with an American accent said something like Technical Solutions about my PC security. I told her I don’t even own a computer and she just ended the call. Honestly, the quickest way to deal with them.

30/03/17 around 3.13pm, got a ring from this number. The guy spoke with a US accent, said he was Anthony working at some sort of "Service centre". He actually knew my name, and that made me pause because we'd been at a "Service Station" just near Hamble Southampton, which this number matches, only last weekend. There was also a weird lag on the call that gave me the feeling they might be calling from overseas. In the end, we just let the phone drop!

Got a call from some bloke in America saying my Windows 10 update had failed and kept showing errors. He wanted me to stay at my computer while he walked me through fixing it. I told him no way, and that I wasn't comfortable giving out my personal info to some random person on the phone. Then he said my spyware wasn’t updated and claimed he worked for some ‘technical solutions’ company. I told him I wasn’t bothered and ended the call. He mentioned he was based in Fort Lauderdale.
