For the past seven days, I've received daily calls from someone speaking with an Indian accent, pretending to be from Microsoft. Most of the time it’s early in the morning, about 8 am, though occasionally it’s later. This annoying routine has happened off and on throughout last year too. Whenever I pretend to be interested, they quickly get rather angry and quite pushy.

I've been receiving persistent calls from someone urging me to power up my computer to address an alleged error message, which they claim is related to a hack. Apparently, the caller is supposedly from Microsoft, yet there's also a woman on the line with an accent reminiscent of someone from Asia. He mentioned he would proceed to block my computer, and if that happens, I'd have to venture all the way to Reading to have it restored. Quite a dodgy situation, if you ask me!

Received a phone call at the crack of dawn, precisely at 7am, from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. When I enquired if he had any idea of the time, he appeared quite clueless and answered negatively. I promptly informed him this was likely a scam, and I intended to report his number, to which he boisterously replied, "Go ahead and do it!" Later, to my utter surprise, I got another call around 2pm. This time, the chap introduced himself as John and cheerfully greeted me with a "Good morning." Quite peculiar, don’t you think?

I received a rather dodgy call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft, chatting away about some supposed illegal activity linked to my internet usage. Naturally, I hung up the phone, only for her to ring me back straight away. I informed her that I would be doing a bit of research on her number, you know, quite the responsible move. Rather than back down, she continued to argue when I pointed out that it sounded like a scam. So, I suggested she might want to consider the possibility of some legal repercussions for their antics. At that point, they cut the call quicker than you can say 'dodgy deal'! It was rather infuriating, especially as I’ve just been discharged from the hospital due to a chronic condition. They say they’re from Microsoft, but legit, Microsoft would never call you out of the blue like that. It’s a dodgy scam, be careful.

Called me way too early, like even before the working day had started.

Just received a call from someone named Eric, who had an Asian accent, at precisely 13:24. This marks the second time in two days I've been disturbed by this same character. He stated he was from Microsoft. To be honest, I'm quite fed up with the relentless barrage of callers throughout the UK purporting to represent Microsoft. I truly lack both the time and the inclination to entertain the nonsense they peddle. So, I've taken to simply hanging up when they ring.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from Microsoft. Sounded dodgy straight away, so I didn’t give any info. Reckon it’s one of those scam calls trying to get at your details. Watch out, folks!

I got a call from someone with an Asian accent and when I asked what they needed, they got really rude. They actually shouted at me for not answering their damn question. Totally bizarre!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent, kept saying my PC was hacked. He phoned me twice already, and I've had three calls from him today in total. Really annoying!

Got a call supposedly from Microsoft, but it was a total scam. I mentioned I don’t even have a computer, and the guy just told me to “go [email protected]&k myself”. Honestly, don’t share any details with these people.

Received a phone call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft, inquiring if I was the primary user of my computer. I informed him that I actually don't have a computer. I politely thanked him for the call and promptly hung up, leaving him no opportunity to respond!

The same idiot scammer uses a new number each time. They’ve been calling my landline for years, but funnily enough, I never even have it connected. What utter muppets, honestly. Haha!

Had a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, trying to trick an Asian lady who wasn’t having any of it. She’s been on computers since ’72, so it was no surprise she saw right through their nonsense! Quite funny how they thought they could get away with it.

Some bloke called himself 'Peter' from Microsoft. I just started giving him a right earful and then I went ahead and blocked the whole area code. Didn’t listen to a word after that.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft. They’ve rung me twice already. The first time was quite pushy and it was pretty early, around 7.45am on a Saturday. When I asked a few questions, they just hung up on me both times.

This person said they were from Microsoft but when I asked for some sort of proof, the woman got really annoyed, saying it was up to me to verify my passwords, not her. I told her she already knew my name since she called me! It's obviously a scam, so don't engage at all. I have a rule: if someone wants to talk to me, I ask them to email me explaining why, with contact info and who they want to speak to. If they don’t immediately hang up (which happens most of the time), I can then double check that the phone numbers and details match the legit company before calling back.

I made it quite clear that I had all I required and wanted for nothing. J expressed her thanks and wished me a splendid day, but she seemed perplexed. I reiterated that I had no need for anything-thank you very much. This led her to accuse me of being rather brusque. She insisted she wasn’t attempting to sell me anything and I repeated my stance for clarity. At that point, she provided me with an address to visit them. I responded that I’d be bringing a solicitor and the authorities along. In a rather alarming twist, she suggested I’d face arrest for that. I asked if she was really issuing a threat, after which she abruptly ended the call, stating that the conversation was being recorded. Throughout the exchange, I remained perfectly composed and didn’t raise my voice at all.

I received a baffling phone call just now; the caller disconnected as soon as I picked up. Quite irritating, really!
