I received a call from this number earlier today. A chap on the line insisted I power up my computer so he could sort out some issues with my Internet connection. I had a hunch it might be a scam, so I politely declined and ended the conversation.

Received a dubious call trying to gain entry to my computer - they ominously mentioned my IP address and a CLSID number, which is a classic ruse. When I challenged their antics, they went as far as threatening to show up at my home to disable my computer and intimidate me!

I received a rather dubious call from a woman named Susan, who had a distinct Indian accent, dangling the prospect of some kind of loan. She was rather pushy, wanting my banking information, which I flatly refused to provide, explaining that I had no interest in taking out a loan. Following our conversation, she went so far as to leave an unpleasant voicemail, threatening to blacklist me simply because I opted out of her offer. Quite the nerve, really!
