4 monthsWatch out for this Bitcoin registration trick, it's a total scam. They said their company was mempool.space and claimed to be located in Luxembourg, but they were ringing from a UK phone number. When I asked about their address, they couldn't say how close it was to the main train station or even which direction it was in - North, South, East, nowhere. Totally dodgy!BitcoinLuxembourgUKNorth1 yearJust got a call from someone saying my Bitcoin account and digital wallet were locked, even though I don't own any bitcoins. Then they emailed me with that number, saying "Here's our official phone number if you need help - +44 2380 970790." Totally looks dodgy, definitely a scam.2 yearsFRAUD ALERT! I just received a dodgy call masquerading as O2, claiming they were giving out upgraded SIM cards. They wanted my personal information to supposedly send it out. Definitely a scam, so be careful!FRAUD ALERT2 yearsSomeone saying they're from O2 and calling me maam? Definitely seems like a scam to me.2 yearsGot a call on my mobile from someone up in the north east of England, sounded like they had a strong Asian accent. When I called them out for being scammers, they denied it straight away. Heading further north now, so watch out folks.North EastEngland2 yearsSomeone said they were calling from O2, offering a new sim card with the latest tech but said my contract and number wouldn’t change. I felt iffy right away since they called me “mam” instead of by my name. Then out of nowhere, they switched me to a different person, which made me uncomfortable so I hung up. They rang me back straight away but I ignored it. I’ve blocked the number now.2 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were from O2, telling me there had been a bunch of complaints about tech problems and that my SIM was about to be blocked. They said they’d send me a replacement SIM for free, but honestly, it sounds like a total scam to me.2 yearsGot like six calls back-to-back, must be one of those debt collectors I reckon.Submit Your Own Report (023 8097 0790)
