I received a call from a chap claiming to be with the Home Energy Advisory Service, or something along those lines. He requested me to verify my address, but I was a bit cautious and asked him what the reason for his call was. Suddenly, his tone shifted dramatically; he mumbled something incoherent and then hung up. Quite odd, if you ask me!

Some bloke called about home energy and seemed to know both mine and my husband’s names. I told him I wasn’t interested and to quit ringing me. Then he started shouting, wanting to speak to David. David’s been gone for over a year now. I told the guy that and he just hung up on me.
