Got a call from a bloke, soundin’ pretty much like the ones others have talked about, something about loft insulation. He brought up the British Lung Foundation too. Didn’t stick around for the hard selling bit, just ended the call straight away.

I picked up and all I heard was someone say hello, then they just hung up right away. Strange!

They were saying that the council went ahead and used cheap, unsafe materials when the government funded free loft insulation for older folks. Have they actually got hold of any proof or records about the roof spaces they supposedly worked on? Or is this just another big cold call operation, targeting vulnerable people and making them stressed and scared? Feels like a proper scam to me.
