I've been getting calls all day from this number, no one ever picks up. It's really getting on my nerves, makes me wanna just switch off my phone altogether. This isn't the only one that's been annoying me either.

I was just waiting for my bill to get sorted after calling British Gas to update my meter reading, when suddenly I got a call from a bloke with a thick accent who kept saying I needed to pay right then with my debit card or I’d get extra fees. His English was really hard to understand, like even the words “British Gas” didn’t come out right. I’m almost certain it was a scam, like 99% sure it was fraud.

I've been getting multiple calls from this number and the people on the line all speak with strong accents and have quite poor English. They keep asking for my details but never explain the reason for their call. Whenever I ask, "how can I be sure you're who you claim to be?" they just dodge the question. I’m registered with the TPS, but they seem clueless about it. One ended the call straight away after I mentioned that, and the most recent caller got really rude, shouted at me to be quiet when I asked about TPS, then just hung up. If this is supposed to be British Gas, they definitely have a serious training problem, because I'm certainly not handing over any info to these people!
