I found myself in quite the pickle trying to decipher what this woman was on about. The only bit I managed to catch was that her name was Sarah, and she was keen on having me respond to a few brief queries. One question she posed was whether I was retired. However, the rest of her message was a real struggle to comprehend, largely due to her strong Indian accent. To be honest, her command of English left much to be desired.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, she said her name was ‘Sarah’. She talked so fast I could barely catch what she was saying. She seemed to know my postcode and asked if I’m retired or something. When I told her to slow down and repeat herself, she just hung up on me. Quite odd really.

When I asked him who he was, he just hung up on me. I’m really fed up with dodgy companies like this. How on earth did he get hold of my number and even my name? I’m ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so this makes no sense!

I honestly thought those calls had stopped for good, but nope, they're back again. Honestly, some sort of harsh punishment seems like the only way to deal with these awful folks. They really deserve it.

Don't answer it. I answered and they began asking for my personal info, which I declined. They kept ringing me about five times until I told them to buzz off.

Got a call from an Asian bloke who wanted my name. I asked what it was about but couldn’t make out what he said. Then he said he wasn’t selling anything, just needed half a minute of my time. I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call. His voice sounded a bit familiar, like someone from Microsoft Windows support. I usually just tell those types to bugger off.

Like a few others have mentioned, this bloke kept asking me to verify some old address. Each time I asked what the call was about, he claimed it was for some opinion survey. When I told him I wouldn’t share any info on the phone, he just ended the call. Definitely felt dodgy to me!

This number keeps calling me non-stop and it's driving me mad. Whenever I pick up and ask who's calling, they just hang up straight away. If they bother me again, I’m definitely going to inform the local police. My number is ex-directory, so it's clear some company has illegally shared a list with my private info. The government really needs to step in and put an end to this harassment for everyone in the UK.

When I answered the call, the man, who sounded Asian, immediately asked my partner for a 16-digit bank number. I interrupted to ask why he needed that info, and he just hung up right away.
