Got a call from a woman claiming to be from BT, but I'm pretty sure it was just a scam.

Got a call claiming to be from BT, saying hackers had taken over my broadband. When I asked questions, they just ended the call. Be careful!

Somebody rang claiming to be from BT’s tech team. I told them everything seemed ok, and then they just hung up. Was about 12:15.

Just got a call from them, I didn’t pick up tho. After seeing what others said here, I went ahead and blocked the number.

I got a call from someone saying they were with BT tech support about issues with my phone line. I told her straight up she was a scammer and she just hung up on me. The call took ages to go through, and honestly, it’s a pity people like that make their culture look bad.

Didn’t bother to leave a message and from what I’m seeing in other reviews, it’s clearly a scam.

Someone rang me saying they were from BT, telling me my broadband would be cut off for two weeks because hackers were supposedly using my connection for illegal stuff. I asked for my BT account number to check what info they had on me, but she couldn’t give it, said only the accounts team have that info and just read out my address. Definitely a scam, don’t share any personal details or let them get into your computer.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT tech support, told them straight up they must be either scammers or just plain lies, and they just ended the call.

got a call from someone saying they were from bt broadband, said they needed to get into my computer to stop hackers or sumthin! sounded fishy to me.

Got a call from an Indian lady saying my BT broadband was going to be disconnected. I told her off right away. Same scam has been happening on quite a few of my other numbers too.
