I called to report that my Visa card had been unauthorizedly used on e-bay for a payment of $400, as well as for an International gift card valued at $1000. The lady who called seemed unsure about which bank she was representing. I decided to end the call and hung up immediately.

I keep receiving calls from this number on a weekly basis, and each time it's from a different person. Sometimes, it's a lawyer, while other times it's a telemarketer or someone else entirely.

I received a call on my landline from a number that had only 9 digits. It raised suspicions, since typically phone numbers consist of 11 digits. It is concerning how long this problem has persisted, as I came across comments dating back to March 2014, while it's now January 2019. With all the advancements in technology, one would expect that these lines could be shut down and that our providers would be able to block them. I believe that all international calls should be blocked by default, unless you specifically agree to receive them.

Evidently, the call is coming from Nigeria. I have taken measures to block the number, so I will not be bothered by them in the future.

I received a call from a lady who claimed to be representing Impact on behalf of Telstra. She said she needed to discuss my billing inquiries and asked for my date of birth and email address. However, I do not have an account with Telstra. These persistent attempts to contact me feel like harassment. I will be contacting Telstra myself to verify the authenticity of this call. It has all the signs of a scam.
