Got a call from 021364171236 yesterday at 6:55 pm. Didn't answer, just let it go to voicemail so I don't know who it was. Tried looking the number up but couldn’t find anything. Apparently it’s not even a proper UK number, missing a digit or something. Jotted the number down and decided I won’t bother picking up if they call again. These random cold calls are meant to be illegal now, but clearly it’s not working at all. Ridiculous!

Saw it was the same number ringing again, but I ignored it since footie had just started. They called last week too, and I didn’t pick up then either. Honestly, when are these annoying calls gonna stop? Thought they were cracking down on these by now!

Not sure, didnt even pick up cause seemed like a scam call. Honestly, its about time the laws start doing something. GDPR sounds good on paper but whats the point when calls keep coming from abroad anyway?

I got a call around half past eight in the evening from a lady who seemed a bit unsure, like she might be pretty new at the job. She said she was with UK CONNECTIONS but wouldn’t say what the company actually did. She asked me to confirm my address details and postcode. When I told her I’d looked them up online and couldn’t find anything about them, she just ended the call straight away.

I picked up by mistake thinking it was someone else. A guy with an Asian accent began asking loads of personal stuff to 'confirm' my identity. I told him I was a Sociopath/Psychopath who’d make it their mission to find him and then shoot him in the left eye. He quickly hung up. Can’t imagine why...

Like some others here, I’m registered with TPS too. I got a call from someone who sounded like they weren’t local, and all they did was quickly check that my name matched the number, then they even said my postcode. Before I could say a word, they just cut the call off. Feels like they’re just gathering info, but why, I’ve no clue.

I refused to confirm my address and then they just hung up on me. Looks like I’m not getting that thank you gift after all since I wasn’t exactly grateful for their call.

Got a call from a polite woman who said her name was ‘Rachel Carter’ from Darlington? She asked all sorts - what’s my favourite colour out of two options, and when I said it was none of her business, she just kept going. Wanted to know if I was on a BT line, who supplies my gas, if I used a prepay meter. She even had my postcode! She reckoned I was 30 years old. Asked if I’d fancy upgrading the kitchen or the bedroom next. She said someone would call back, but I told her no chance as I was blocking the number. She just wouldn’t give up!
