Got two calls earlier today from someone saying they were from BT, asking if I was having issues with my internet. I ended the call straight away the first time. When they rang back, I told them I don't actually use BT for my internet. The caller then said something like "not BT internet, your internet." I explained I don't have a phone line or internet connected through it, then they just hung up. Quite irritating, especially since I’m signed up with the phone preference service.

Had four missed calls from this number today, the 4th of October, 2017. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to give it a bell. However, when I did, I was greeted with a message stating that this number isn’t recognised. Quite odd, isn't it? That’s all there is to it, really.

I got a call earlier claiming to be from BT saying they were gonna cut off my internet for 3 to 4 weeks starting this afternoon. The lady on the phone had really poor English and couldn’t really explain things properly, so I asked to speak to her supervisor. She just ended the call. Then a bloke called, again with terrible English, repeating the same story. I told them I wasn’t about to log into my computer for anyone, and they hung up on me.

I received a call from this number, and it was absolutely disgraceful! They were shockingly disrespectful towards my 72-year-old father, hurling foul insults at him like "motherf***ker" and "son of a b**ch". Really appalling behaviour!

I've been receiving calls from this number for the past three months, and the frequency has ramped up to six calls a day over the last week. They start at around 10:00, followed by 10:20, and continue through the day at 12:00, 13:30, 15:00, and finally at 16:00. When I do finally answer, the line either goes silent or disconnects when it reaches my voicemail. About three months back, I had a conversation with someone who spoke with an Asian accent claiming there was an issue with my broadband. I told them, "I can hardly take you seriously as I'm currently using my laptop while you chat away. Do you really think we're that gullible?" He promptly hung up. I reckon it's high time I block that number. Honestly, it’s a right pain. What a miserable existence for them, and it’s just so frustrating for those of us on the receiving end!

For the past fortnight, this number seems to have been persistently calling me almost daily. Just last week, I had a chat with an English chap, who promptly ended the conversation when I requested him to send the details of his broadband offer in writing. There’s also a quick-talking woman who occasionally leaves voicemails on my answerphone, which I keep switched on specifically for these sorts of calls. However, when I tried to pick up just ten minutes ago, the line went dead before I could say a word. I’ve registered with the telephone preference service, but it seems it doesn’t deter these calls.

This number rang me again earlier, and this time it was an actual bloke on the line - an Indian guy saying he was ringing from BT. He said there was some kind of issue with my internet. I wasn’t having it though and cut him off, telling him he was talking rubbish. The cheek of him, he got angry at me for interrupting! Honestly, this bloke was obviously trying to scam me. When I told him where to go and ended the call, he actually dared to ring back and start threatening my family. I told him to come over and sort it out face to face, but he just dropped the call straight away. Earlier today, I got a call from someone pretending to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my BT hub and that I should get my computer ready. I cut the call straight away. Then, not long after, the same person rang back asking why I’d hung up. I told them I didn’t trust them and that my hub was fine. They kept insisting on when they could ring me again. I just ended it and have since checked with BT - they know about these scams. I’ve blocked the number now.
