I received an email claiming I had a voicemail from BT from a number starting with these digits. It came from an address ending with LIVE[###] and asked me to click a link to listen. The email was addressed as Dear Member. Totally looks like a scam to me. I’ve forwarded it to the gov.uk site to report it as possible phishing.

8:50 am on a Wed back in May 2019, I didnt answer. It was quiet on the other end then they hung up. Just a heads up, dont press 1 or 2 or any number on those cold calls cause it might mean you agreed to some fees. Microsoft won’t call you outta the blue (unless you’ve requested it) same for BT. If unsure, ring BT back on their official number to verify. That 0209 code isn’t legit, not in the Ofcom listings.
