As soon as I greeted them with a "hello," they abruptly hung up the call.

I picked up a call from this number, but there was complete silence on the other end before they abruptly cut off. Interestingly, my sister also had a call from the same number, and when she answered, she discovered it was regarding O2 promotions. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

I received a call from the same number, claiming to represent UK Mobile. However, I couldn't find any information about them online. It’s a London number, yet the background noise was filled with chatter in Thai. Rather peculiar, to say the least!
