Keep getting calls from this number 0208 954 4782 but I never pick up cause I don’t recognise it and I don’t know anyone living in London anyway. It’s been happening quite a lot lately with different London numbers ringing me.

I got a call from a guy claiming to be from Currys or Peworld, saying they wanted to offer upgrades on my mobile. He asked me who my network provider was. The number looked sort of like one that’s been ringing me all week, just with the last few digits changed. I told him I'd never bought a phone from Currys before and I was pretty sure he wasn’t actually with them. After that, he just said alright and ended the call!

I have no idea who this could be, but I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I hardly ever share my number, only with a few close mates, and never for any work-related stuff. So yeah, this is sketchy for sure.

Received a call purporting to be from Carphone Warehouse, touting some sort of promotion. They cut the line after about half a minute. Definitely had the feel of a dodgy scam, if you ask me.

I reckon it's a scam. Lately, I've been getting calls from numbers in London I don't recognise. I block one, then another one that's almost the same rings up. If I just let it go to voicemail, they hang up straight away. Proper annoying.
