Got a call from a London area code, but after a little pause, an Asian guy answered with a ‘hello’. Feels like this number isn’t actually from the UK and they might be using some sort of interpretation service. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it now.

He claimed to be ringing from Carphome warehouse, but when I probed for more information, he outright dismissed my questions and transferred me to a supervisor who was nothing short of aggressive and menacing. It was quite amusing to see how he reacted when I chuckled and referred to him as a peasant!

Somebody called me trying to get me to pay for stuff i never asked for, and honestly the person on the phone was really impolite. Plus the letter they posted looked totally dodgy to me.

Absolutely dodgy! I've had three calls now from numbers beginning with 0208 954... each one purporting to be from O2, trying to entice me with a supposed 30% discount on my bill. Just a heads-up, don't hand over any personal info-they'll mess about with your password, cut you off from your own account, and then go on a spree ordering phones under your name, all while altering the delivery address. Best to steer clear!
