I just received an offer from Currys PC World for a whopping 40% off my phone contract renewal. It seems a bit too good to be true, doesn't it? I can't shake the feeling it might be a scam.

It might just be a dodgy call. I picked up the phone and was met with a rather impolite so-called advisor. They claimed to represent Currys and were pushing me to upgrade my mobile. Despite me repeatedly stating I wasn't interested, they kept insisting, saying things like, “rest assured, we’re completely above board.” Quite infuriating really, as they wouldn’t allow me a word edgewise. When I firmly declined, they attempted to transfer me to their manager. Definitely raised a few red flags!
